McDonald’s - Dollar Menu

Project: McDonald’s wanted a campaign to draw attention to its expanding Dollar Menu. This was a proposed campaign that was not produced.

Challenge: Dollar Menus were quickly becoming a trend in the fast food category. McDonald’s Dollar Menu offerings were growing and these bargains needed to be top-of-mind for customers.

Solution: A highly interactive campaign of posters, billboards, and busboards that challenged consumers to add up the spare change shown and then text that amount to McDonald’s. If they were correct, they received a digital coupon for a free order of fries, a list of potential Dollar Menu items they could purchase with that amount of money, and directions to the nearest McDonald’s. The different executions featured different dollar amounts, so people could play several times, depending on where they encountered the creative executions.

My Role: Came up with the idea for the campaign and provided all art direction and design.
